This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect Personal Information in connection with the Website, mobile application, payment platform, and related products and services (collectively, "Services").
This Privacy Policy applies to individuals who access or use the Services, including customers, account holders, authorised representatives of businesses, beneficiaries, counterparties, and other individuals whose Personal Information is provided to us in connection with a transaction or use of the Services.
This Privacy Policy should be read together with JuniGo’s applicable Terms of Use (“Terms”) and any other privacy notices or disclosures provided to you in connection with the Services. Where applicable, additional notices may provide further information about how we process Personal Information in connection with a particular product, service, transaction, or jurisdiction.
The JuniGo entity responsible for processing your Personal Information may vary depending on the Services you use, your location, the nature of the relevant Transaction and the applicable legal or regulatory requirements
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and that your Personal Information will be processed in accordance with its terms and applicable data protection laws.
This Privacy Policy describes how we process Personal Information and does not replace or modify any rights or obligations arising under the Terms or any other agreement applicable to the Services.
If you are accessing or using the Services on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you are authorised to act on behalf of that entity. In such circumstances, references to "you" or "your" include both you and the entity you represent, as applicable.
When you access or use the Services, we may collect and retain Personal Information that is reasonably necessary to provide and administer the Services, verify your identity, process transactions, maintain the security of the Services, and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
The Personal Information we may collect includes, but is not limited to:
We may also collect Personal Information from third parties, including our service providers and business partners, identity verification and KYC/KYB providers, financial institutions, blockchain analytics and transaction monitoring providers, fraud prevention and sanctions screening providers, government authorities, public records and other publicly available sources. Certain Personal Information is required for us to provide the Services or comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations. If you do not provide information that is required for these purposes, we may be unable to provide or continue providing certain Services, process transactions, or establish or maintain your account.
Where appropriate, we may associate technical, diagnostic or product usage information with an internal account or session identifier so that we can investigate technical issues, provide support and better understand how our Services are used. Where practicable, we seek to limit the Personal Information included in such records to what is reasonably necessary for these purposes. We collect these records automatically through our applications and supporting systems, subject to the purposes, legal bases and privacy choices described below. Our structured diagnostic and product analytics records are designed to be limited to technical metadata and events and are not intended to include sensitive information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, authentication tokens, text entered into forms, identity documents, payment credentials, balances, transaction amounts, bank account details and wallet addresses. However, certain technical or error logs may incidentally contain Personal Information included in request payloads when an error occurs. We take reasonable measures to minimise the collection of such information and to mask, block or otherwise limit sensitive information where appropriate.
Depending on the nature of the Services provided and the circumstances of the processing, JuniGo may act as a data controller or data processor, as those terms are defined under applicable data protection laws.
Where we determine the purposes and means of processing Personal Information, we will generally act as a data controller. Where we process Personal Information solely on behalf of a business customer and in accordance with that customer’s documented instructions, JuniGo may act as a data processor. In such circumstances, the relevant business customer may be responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing and for providing any required privacy notices.
We process Personal Information in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws and only for legitimate and relevant purposes, including to:
Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on your location and applicable data protection laws, we may process your Personal Information on one or more of the following legal bases:
Certain third-party service providers may process Personal Information independently as separate or independent data controllers where they determine the purposes and means of their own processing or are required to comply with their own legal, regulatory, fraud prevention, AML/CFT, sanctions or other obligations.

Where recognised under applicable law, we may rely on our legitimate interests to process technical, diagnostic and product usage analytics for purposes such as maintaining and improving the Services, investigating technical issues, providing customer support and understanding how the Services are used, provided that those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests. Where applicable law requires your consent for the use of particular analytics technologies or for the relevant processing, we will obtain such consent before the relevant collection or processing begins.

Where we provide controls for optional diagnostic or product usage analytics, you may manage your preferences through the settings or other controls made available within the Services. If you opt out, we will stop collecting new optional product usage analytics, including page or screen views, user actions, feature usage, user journeys or flows, time spent on pages or screens, and session duration.
Opting out of optional product usage analytics does not affect the collection and processing of technical and diagnostic information that is reasonably necessary to operate, secure and maintain the Services, investigate errors, provide support or ensure service reliability. Such diagnostic information may include internal identifiers, including your JuniGo user ID, where necessary for these purposes.
Changing your analytics preference does not automatically delete information collected before the change. Such information will continue to be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy, applicable retention requirements and your applicable privacy rights.
Where supported by the Services, you may be able to update, correct, or delete certain Personal Information through your account or by submitting a request to us. You may also be able to permanently close your account through the account settings available on the Website or mobile application.
Closing your account or requesting the deletion of your Personal Information does not necessarily result in the immediate deletion of all information relating to you. We may retain certain Personal Information where required or permitted by applicable law, regulation, regulatory requirements, legal proceedings, fraud prevention requirements, or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, as well as where otherwise necessary to fulfil our legitimate business or compliance obligations.
Where we retain Personal Information following an account closure or deletion request, we will continue to protect and process that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
We may disclose or otherwise make Personal Information available to third parties where reasonably necessary to provide and administer the Services, process and facilitate transactions, conduct due diligence and compliance checks, prevent fraud and financial crime, protect the security of our systems and users, or otherwise operate our business in accordance with applicable law.

We use third-party technology and analytics service providers in connection with the operations, security, diagnosis and improvement of the Services. These may include Sentry, which processes technical and diagnostic information, including error reports and related technical information, for troubleshooting, error investigation and service reliability, and PostHog, which supports product usage analytics and helps us understand how users interact with the Services.
Depending on the features enabled and your applicable privacy choices, these providers may process relevant technical, diagnostic, session and product usage information on our behalf. Where such providers process Personal Information on our behalf, we require them to process the information in accordance with our instructions, applicable contractual requirements and applicable data protection laws. International processing or transfers are subject to the safeguards described in Section 8.
We may also disclose Personal Information to regulators, financial intelligence units, law enforcement agencies, courts, government authorities or other competent authorities where required or permitted by applicable law, including for the purposes of responding to lawful requests, complying with regulatory obligations, preventing or investigating suspected fraud, financial crime or other unlawful activity, or protecting the rights, safety and security of JuniGo, our users or others.
We retain Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or for such longer period as may be required or permitted by applicable law.
The applicable retention period will depend on the nature of the information, the purposes for which it is processed, and our legal, regulatory, operational and legitimate business requirements. In particular, certain Personal Information and records may be required to be retained for specified periods under applicable financial services, AML/CFT, sanctions, tax, accounting, legal or regulatory requirements.
Accordingly, Personal Information relating to customer identification, transactions, financial crime monitoring, compliance and regulatory matters may be retained after the closure of an account or termination of the Services where required or permitted by applicable law.
Technical, diagnostic and product usage information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, taking into account the nature of the information, the purpose for which it is processed, applicable system or provider retention settings, and our operational, legal and regulatory requirements. When Personal Information is no longer required to be retained, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete, anonymise or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable law and our internal retention procedures.
Information recorded on a blockchain or other distributed ledger may remain on the relevant network independently of our retention practices, and we may not be able to modify or delete such information.
